GPS Device Activation Question
Once i have purchased and installed my GPS unit , How do i access my data ?
Your GPS Device has a Unique I.D four digit Serial No. ( eg 0290 ) Go to our website and click on 'ACTIVATE SAT SLEUTH' icon. Fill out the Activation form and apply your ID serial number to the asset form. Once you have completed your activation form, allow a 48 hour wait before commencing . You will receive your User Name and Password via your nominated E-mail address.

How do I login to my tracking system once i have a user name and password ?
Go to www.myeyeinthesky.com and click on the icon on the top left - 'LOGIN GPS TRACKING SYSTEM' icon.The following link http://tracking.myeyeinthesky.com/ is also recommended, enter your secure username and password.(do not give out your user name and password to any unorthised person)
Activation Form Question
When I try and fillout the activation form, I cant see what i am writting?
Your web brower is set to Auto Fill. or Auto Complete Forms, be sure to TURN OFF OR DISABLE these options in your web brower . This will allow you to view your content.
Activation Form Question
I have filled out my activation form correctly , But it said " try again later " what am i doing wrong ?
The administrator has not yet entered your Serial number in the database at this present time. So try again at a later stage.(activation is normally recommended during 9am to 5 pm during working hours.)
Coverage of Tracking System Question
I live in Melbourne, do your tracking devices work here?
Our GPS data coverage is world wide .Our units have a data flash memory chip that collects and stores GPS data every 2 minutes whilst on the move. This data is then delivered through the 'GSM Telstra Network'. If the network connection is lost for a period of time the GPS data will not be lost. Once the connection is re-established the stored data will be transferred to the user.
About Google Earth Pro
I have a small freight company in Brisbane with 7 trucks. Do i need to purchase the Google Earth Pro in order to locate my trucks?
It's not necessary to purchase 'Google Earth Pro' in order to view your assets on a location map. The tracking portal is connected to a third party australian mapping server, Maps and Reverse Geocoding Address. ect is all part of the access that we offer. Some users have large amounts of assets that prefer to use their asset data with 'Google Earth Pro' due to its super fast refesh action features and worldwide satellite GPS imagery. In my experience these features would be benifical only to large asset owners that would like track assets world wide.

Does your data work with Google Earth Free Version?
The GPS data that is aquired from the tracking portal is the personal property of the user. There are many web based stand alone programs such as 'Google Earth' and 'Microsoft Vertual Earth'; this can interface with nema data, also recognised as 'gps data'.
Some free versions, however do have restrictions on the terms of usetowards these programs. In some cases restrictions can be based on the amount of data useage .It is the responabilty of the user to consider these options.
